Bibbs was awarded a Ford foundation Post-Doctorial Fellowship that allowed him to study with internationally renowned sculptor Richard Hunt. His distinguished exhibition history included showings at the Metal Works Gallery, the Art Institute of Chicago, Penn State University, and the Atlanta Life Insurance Company 10th Annual African American Art Competition Exhibition. His works are in the collections of the High Museum in Atlanta, ATT Corporation in New York, and other noted collections
